Joseph M. Percopo

Mr. Percopo is a Florida Licensed Attorney and a Florida Notary Public. He received his law degree from Florida State University College of Law, where he graduated in the top 3% of his class with highest honors and was invited to join The Order of the Coif, an honorary scholastic society whose purpose is to promote and engage excellence in legal education. After graduating from law school Mr. Percopo went on to receive his Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, one of the nation's leading programs for the advanced study of tax law.

Mr. Percopo works at the law firm of Giles & Robinson, P.A. where his practice focuses on estate planning, asset protection, business and tax law. He has authored two articles for the Florida Bar Journal, the most recent of which was "The Impact of Co-Ownership of Florida Homestead."

The Hon. Antoinette D. Plogstedt

Antoinette DiPalma Plogstedt was elected Orange County Judge in 2000. She has served in a criminal division for five years and a civil division for six years. She graduated in 1987 from the University of Tampa with a B.S., cum laude, in Marketing and a Minor in Business Administration. She earned her Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Florida College of Law in 1990, where she served on the Moot Court Board and Honor Court prosecutor. She was re-elected without opposition in 2006.

Judge Antoinette D. Plogstedt is a former Assistant State Attorney. She was an A-V Rated attorney and practiced in both civil and criminal law before taking the bench. She worked in private practice and then started her own law practice. She served as a Guardian Ad Litem for abused and neglected children and received the OCBA Legal Aid Award of Excellence in recognition of her work.

Judge Plogstedt was elected to two terms as Secretary of the Orange County Bar Association. She was also elected to the YLS Board of the OCBA. Judge Plogstedt served as a board member and officer of the Central Florida Association for Women Lawyers (CFAWL). Orange County Judge Antoinette D. Plogstedt currently serves as CFAWL’s Judicial Liaison. She has served on CFAWL’s Board as the Co-chair of Professional Development; Co-Editor of the Newsletter; Membership Chair; Judicial Reception Chair; and the Public Relations Chair. Judge Plogstedt serves as a CFAWL Mentor.

Judge Plogstedt recently served as the Co-Chair of the OCBA Law Week’s Day in the Life of a Judge program. She previously chaired the OCBA Young Lawyers’ Law Explorer Post.

Judge Plogstedt has chaired the 9th Circuit’s Jury Innovations Committee. She worked on improving the juror experience in the Courts. She was instrumental in developing the Court’s Cybercafe for jurors, greeting jurors, and extending child supervision to jurors.

Judge Plogstedt served as Chair of the Orange County Election Canvassing Board and is a Mentor Judge to new judges. She is a frequent community speaker at local elementary schools, high schools, middle schools, law schools, Valencia, and UCF. She recently spoke at the Foundation’s Teacher’s Legal Institute, the Boys and Girls Club Career Exploration program, and The Florida Bar’s Practicing with Professionalism Seminars.

Judge Plogstedt serves on the OCBA Foundation Board and the Teen Court Advisory Board. She is a volunteer with Justice Teaching, where she teaches civics lessons to 7th graders. Judge Plogstedt is a Bencher with the Inns of Court.

Judge Plogstedt enjoys cooking and photography. She enjoys traveling with her family. She has traveled to Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, Scandinavia, Europe and St. Petersburg, Russia.

Orange County Judge Antoinette Plogstedt and her husband, Marc, are raising their four busy, teenage daughters in Orlando. She has been very active as a Girl Scout Troop Leader, PTSA Teach-In Chair, Room Mom and Band Booster. She is active in the Rotary Club of Orlando, where she is named a Paul Harris Fellow. Judge Plogstedt is a 16 year breast cancer survivor.
