FREE CITIZEN DISPUTE MEDIATION - Orange County Residents: If you have a dispute with your neighbor or landlord, or a consumer complaint, property damage or settlement issue, call 407-423-5732. The Orange County Bar Association offers FREE mediation for residents of Orange County through its Citizen Dispute Program from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Mediation is free regardless of income. Call 407-423-5732 today to schedule an appointment.

FLORIDA BAR HURRICANE RELIEF HOTLINE - ATTORNEYS NEEDED. The Florida Bar YLD, ABA Young Lawyers Section, FEMA, and other legal aid organizations, are soliciting volunteers to help provide basic legal services for low-income individuals affected by the storm. Attorney volunteers assist by returning calls placed to a toll-free hotline providing legal and non-legal assistance to callers. Constitution Revision Commission Appointments

Dec. 31 – Application Deadline. Florida Supreme Court Chief Justice Jorge Labarga will accept resumes for three appointments to the Florida Constitution Revision Commission (CRC). The 37-member CRC is created every 20 years to consider revising the state's constitutional charter or any part of it. Members are appointed by the governor, the president of the Senate, the speaker of the House, and the chief justice. For details, please see the Florida Supreme Court website.
