For two decades the OCBA's Legal Placement Service has provided qualified staff for Central Florida law firms. We specialize in four fields of placement:

Our Legal Placement Service manager is trained to handle each placement request with the care, urgency and confidentiality your firm requires. OCBA members receive a discount; however, our fees are well below market rates and we welcome all attorneys who are seeking support staff to place job orders.
The OCBA has invested in reliable testing methods so you can be secure in knowing that all candidates provided are pre-screened and tested before you interview them. We have developed our service to exceed industry standards and offer the most cost-effective solution to your firm's staffing needs.

Complete placement services for candidates provided by the OCBA include:
- Selecting qualified applicants from our resume pool.
- Testing applicants using state-of-the-art methods to ensure your firm receives only qualified applicants.
- Pre-screening applicants.
- Conducting in-depth interview of qualified applicants for your firm's open positions.
- Coordinating interviews and hiring process.
OCBA member fee: 5% of new hire's salary.
Non-member fee: 7% of new hire's salary.
Select placement services for candidates provided by the firm include:
- Checking references only: OCBA member: $100; non-member: $150
- Testing only: OCBA member: $100; non-member: $150
- Testing and in-depth interview: OCBA member: $150; non-member: $200

Computerized testing procedures measure each applicant's skill level in legal spelling, grammar, vocabulary and typing. All test results are provided to your firm for review and consideration in your decision.
