Helping You Find
The Right Lawyer Right Now!
Lawyer Referral and Information Service
Do You Need a Referral to a Qualified Orlando-area Attorney?
Have you been putting off getting help with a legal problem? If you need an attorney or think you have a legal problem, the Orange County Bar Association Lawyer Referral and Information Service is here to help. We assist more than 3,000 people each year with legal matters.
The OCBA Lawyer Referral and Information Service can refer you to one of more than 100 attorneys in 31 different legal categories.
How it works:
1) Call 407-422-4537 or request a lawyer online. Se habla Espanol. We are open Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You can submit the request form at any time. We try our best to get back in touch with you within one business day.
2) Briefly explain your legal issue with one of our attorney referral counselors and the results you would like to see, or submit this information using the online form.
3) Get a referral to a lawyer or appropriate resourse. If we determine you will benefit from working with a lawyer, we will refer you to a pre-screened, experienced OCBA Lawyer Referral and Information Service lawyer. However, sometimes we help you find out that you do not need a lawyer. In that case, we will refer you to other helpful resources that might be better or more cost-effective for you.
If we refer you to a lawyer, your next step is to contact the lawyer yourself to schedule an initial consultation. Initial consultations are $50 or free, depending on the type of case and last up to 30 minutes. If you and the lawyer decide to continue to work together, you will arrange any additional fees with the lawyer.
To start your referral, call 407-422-4537, or email us above.
The OCBA Lawyer Referral Service is a non-profit community service that was established in 1933. We are a Florida Bar-approved Lawyer Referral and Information Service.
We do not take walk-in clients. Please call the Lawyer Referral Service phone number above or email us. There are no attorneys at the OCBA offices. You will not be able to speak or meet with an attorney at the OCBA. (All OCBA attorneys who accept referrals from the OCBA's Lawyer Referral and Information Service pay to participate in this service.)
If you can not afford an attorney, please visit the Legal Aid Society website or call 407-841-8310. We do not provide referrals for pro bono (free) attorneys.
