Announcement: OCBA Executive Council Special Election
The OCBA Executive Council is Accepting Nominations for Two (2) One-Year Vacancies for a Seat on the Executive Council
Two vacancies on the OCBA Executive Council has been created due to the election of Executive Council Member Arti Ajit Hirani to a one-year term as Secretary of the Orange County Bar Association for the 2021 to 2022 year, and the resignation of at-large Executive Council Member William Umansky.
The remaining terms on Ms. Hirani’s and Mr. Umansky’s seats on the Executive Council are each one (1) year.
“Regular” OCBA members (attorneys) who would like to be considered for the open seat shall submit a nominating petition no later than midnight, Thursday, April 8, 2021, by email to Jenny Brown, Executive Director, at email@example.com.
The vacancy will be filled at the next regularly scheduled meeting of the Orange County Bar Association Executive Council to be held on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at 4:30 p.m.
The Executive Council requests that nominees submit a statement of interest with the nomination petition. If nominees would like to submit a CV, they are welcome to do so, however, a CV is not required. Please do not submit more than three (3) pages of supplemental documentation with the nomination petition.
