Please follow the instructions on the application to avoid a delay in processing your card.  

For Attorneys

  • By Mail:
    Now reduced price for this card only. Complete the 2020-2021 attorney application and mail with a copy of your valid driver’s license and a check in the amount of $40 made payable to the OCBA. Please email a digital photo* in .jpg format to Carolyn Cochrane by email. The card will be mailed to you within seven business days.  
  • In Person:
    Complete the attorney application and bring with your valid driver’s license and a check in the amount of $40 made payable to the OCBA. Your photo will be taken, and the card will be prepared and may be given to you the same day depending on volume of walk-in applicants. Otherwise, the card will be mailed to you within seven business days.
  • To Pre-order the 2022-2023 court access card, complete attorney application form.  This card will be valid and shipped on November 1, 2021.  Pre-order is not available for Non Members. Please Complete the form and mail with a copy of your valid driver’s license and a check in the amount of $80 made payable to the OCBA. Please email a digital photo* in .jpg format to Carolyn Cochrane by email. The card will be mailed to you within seven business days.

Legal Support Staff   – Pre-order is not available for Legal Staff

  • By Mail:
    Complete the Legal Support Staff application and have it signed by an attorney as well as notarized. Bring notarized application, a copy of your driver’s license and a check in the amount of $40 made payable to the OCBA. Please email a digital photo* in .jpg format to Carolyn Cochrane by email. The card will be mailed to you within seven business days.
  • In Person:
    Complete the Legal Support Staff application and have it signed by an attorney as well as notarized. (We can notarize at the OCBA for a fee of $10) Bring notarized application, your driver’s license and a check in the amount of $40 made payable to the OCBA. Your photo will be taken, and the card will be prepared and may be given to you the same day depending on volume of walk-in applicants. Otherwise, the card will be mailed to you within seven business days.

The OCBA is required to conduct a Florida Department of Law Enforcement background check for investigators, couriers, court reporters, legal assistants, secretaries and consultants.

No appointment necessary. Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 880 N. Orange Ave., Orlando, FL 32801.

If we have a .jpg photo of you on file, we will use it unless otherwise notified.

Notice: Weapons are not permitted in the courthouse.
