Lawyer Referral & Information Service

Let the OCBA help you build your practice!

The Lawyer Referral & Information Service (LRIS) program offers an exceptional opportunity for attorneys, both established and new, to enhance their practice and serve their community. This program is renowned for its success, referring over 8,000 clients annually to LRIS panel members and establishing itself as one of the most extensive and productive programs in Florida. Note: You do not need to be a member of the Orange County Bar Association to join our LRIS program and become a panel member.

All LRIS and Modest Means panel members must agree to remit fee-sharing equal to 15% of each fee received from referred matters.

LRIS Annual Dues:

OCBA Member $125

OCBA Member applying for Modest Means Panels only- No annual fee

Non-member $250- First year on LRIS (If you do not join the OCBA after your first year, you will be required to pay the $250 dues plus an additional $250 surcharge in order to maintain your active status on the LRIS panel going forward)

Non-member applying for Modest Means Panels only $125- First year on LRIS (If you do not join the OCBA after your first year, you will be required to pay the $125 dues plus an additional $125 surcharge in order to maintain your active status on the LRIS panel going forward)

To become a new LRIS panel member:

  1. Complete the Panel Membership Agreement form and the Panel Member Application form.
  2. Complete one or more (but no more than four) of the Practice Area Forms (as noted below). Note: You may select an unlimited number of subpanels within the form. Attach proof of experience, as required.
  3. Submit the completed Panel Member application form, Practice Area application form(s), a copy of the declaration page from your malpractice insurance policy (in the minimum amount of $300,000 for members not applying for the Personal Injury panels, or $500,000 for members applying for the Personal Injury panels), and the annual dues as noted on the application form to our offices at 880 N. If you wish to join the modest means panel:

  1. Complete the LRIS Member Application form.
  2. Complete the Modest Means Panel Member Agreement form.
  3. Complete one or more (but no more than four) of the Modest Means Practice Area application forms, as noted below. Note: You may select an unlimited number of subpanels within the form.
