Health and Wellness Committee Lunch and Learn: Stress and Nutrition in the Time of Quarantine

March is National Nutrition Month and the OCBA Health and Wellness Committee invites you to a lunch and learn program covering nutrition and stress in the time of COVID. Dr. Tashia D. Reid will discuss the common types of stress and how it may look differently for different people, and cause physical complaints such as low energy, fatigue or insomnia. She will give tips on how proper nutrition can help lower stress and increase energy.

Dr. Tashia D. Reid has resided in the Orlando area for over 35 years. She is a graduate of the University of Central Florida in 1997 and New York Chiropractic College in 2001. Reid Chiropractic & Wellness Center was established in 2016 and specializes in treating acute and chronic pain to the musculoskeletal system, injuries due to car accidents, falls and everyday life, and nutritional consultations and support for the everyday person. Dr. Reid is a Certified Medical Examiner for the FMCSA to provide DOT physicals for truck drivers. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and family, gardening and anything sci-fi!
