In order to serve ourselves, clients and opposing counsel, this seminar will provide practical tools for increasing our satisfaction with the practice of law. The Small Business Reorganization Act (“SBRA”) added Subchapter V to Chapter 11. The purpose of SBRA was to streamline the bankruptcy process by which small business debtors reorganize and rehabilitate their financial affairs. The SBRA became effective on February 19, 2020. We will discuss the implementation of SBRA and how well SBRA has achieved its purpose on the 1st anniversary of SBRA.
