Traffic Court Hearing Officer Training Program – June 6, 2022 – June 9, 2022

The Orange County Bar Association is offering the education portion of the standardized Civil Traffic Hearing Officer Training pursuant to Rule 6.630 of the Florida Rules of Traffic Court. 33.5 hours of CLE credit has been applied for, approval pending.
In addition to these lecture sessions, participants must complete additional requirements for the full certification that will be coordinated separately by the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court after this training program, to include four hours of mentored participation in traffic court proceedings in the county in which they may ultimately be hired, as well as four hours of observation including two hours of on-road observation of traffic enforcement in order to complete the entire forty hours of standardized training.
Due to seating capacity limitations, participation is limited to 30 attendees on a first-come basis. Only individuals who intend to continue on with the full certification requirements beyond the CLE program should enroll.
Only those applicants who can attend each of the four, full-day (8 hour) training sessions will be considered and accepted for participation. DO NOT APPLY to register if you cannot attend each of the following four sessions in their entirety:
June 6, 2022 – 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Lunch Break – 12:00 p.m. – 12:30 p.m.
June 7, 2022 – 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Lunch Break – 12:30 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
June 8, 2022 – 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Lunch Break – 11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
June 9, 2022 – 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Lunch Break – 12:30 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
All sessions will all take place at the OCBA Center at 880 N. Orange Avenue, Orlando, FL 32801. Complimentary parking is available. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
