The Orange County Bar Association welcomes Assistant Chief Immigration Judge Kevin Mart who will provide information about these positions, how to apply and what to expect if you want to become an immigration judge. The OCBA is doing its first ever Diversity and Inclusion Certification Program. The goal of the program is to have participants more informed about issues surrounding diversity and inclusion and their own personal implicit biases.
Each session will feature a moderator and panel of individuals both inside and outside the legal profession, including leaders from each represented community and the broader Central Florida community.
Participants must complete five (5) of the six (6) courses in order to earn the OCBA Certificate in Diversity & Inclusion Awareness.
Individuals who complete the certification program will be able to display a certification seal/logo on their law firm website as an indicator that they are dedicated to acceptance, allyship, and personal growth in order to better serve a broad range of diverse clientele.
