Young Lawyers SectionThe Young Lawyers Section (YLS) is an exciting and prestigious organization consisting of over 750 attorneys who practice in diverse areas of law throughout Central Florida. To become a member, one must be an attorney and either under the age of 35 or have practiced law for ten years or less. As a member of YLS, you gain access to a wealth of opportunities for relationship building, charitable service, and professional growth. Our PurposeThe YLS’s mission is to meet the unique needs and interests of new lawyers by (a) providing a forum for exchanging ideas and offering assistance regarding concerns common to the new lawyer; (b) offering opportunities to enhance professional skills and knowledge and ethical development; (c) providing opportunities for career and leadership development, mentoring, and relationship building; (d) offering opportunities to serve on public service committees and charitable projects; and (e) encouraging interest and participation in the YLS, the Orange County Bar Association, and the legal profession in our communities.
