Clerk’s Self Help Center
The Orange County Clerk of Courts named their Self Help Centers in honor of the late Lydia Gardner, aiming to offer limited legal guidance and low-cost attorney consultations to customers. These centers are the first of their kind in the Orange County community to help citizens who either don't have a lawyer or cannot afford one, and the services provided are not based on income.
The Self Help Center will assist only with the following case types:
- Family Law (excluding restraining orders)
- Child Custody
- Divorce
